Filter Coffee Maker

Not just another coffee maker.
Rooted in the tradition of Indian filter coffee, this project explores how cultural rituals can be thoughtfully translated into modern living. The slow brewing process, rich flavor, and deliberate preparation create more than a beverage — they create a moment of pause.

Designed as a reinterpretation of the traditional Filter Coffee Maker for the U.S. market, the project balances cultural authenticity with contemporary expectations around usability, form, and everyday ritual. The result is an experience that feels both familiar and deeply rooted in heritage.
